How we can help

Support when student life feels tough

Student life can sometimes be challenging — especially after illness, family concerns, personal problems or difficulties with study. The Wellbeing Team is here to help.

Someone to listen

Talking with someone can help lighten the load and make a difficult situation feel more manageable.

School support

Help when personal concerns, attendance, confidence or learning challenges are affecting school life.

Relationships

Talk through concerns involving friends, family, partners, teachers, classes or other relationships.

Community referrals

Where ongoing or specialised support is needed, we can connect students with the right services.

Topics you can raise

What students can talk about

Support is offered in a respectful, confidential and student-centred way. Students can bring any concern — big or small.

School & Study

Support with study concerns, attendance, confidence and communication with parents, carers or teachers.

Relationships

Relationships can be positive, but also difficult. Talking things through helps students manage concerns safely.

Stress, Anxiety & Depression

Strategies and connections to specialised services when ongoing support is required.

Sexual Health

Confidential discussion of sexual health matters including contraception, pregnancy and STI concerns.

Grief & Loss

Grief affects everyone differently. Talking about difficult feelings is a healthy step in managing loss.
